The plaques act as permanent markers installed on buildings that have received the prestigious label, highlighting structures that demonstrate architectural innovation, cultural significance and design excellence.
Installed across France and its overseas territories, the plaques celebrate modern architectural achievements while providing a consistent and elegant visual identity for the programme.

The Architecture Contemporaine Remarquable label was created by the French Ministry of Culture in 2016.
The programme recognises buildings and architectural works less than 100 years old that represent important contributions to contemporary architecture.
More than 1,700 buildings have received the designation, making the programme one of the most significant architectural recognition initiatives in Europe.
