We were proud to see Midton featured on STV News, highlighting the work our team is doing here in Lochgilphead and the global reach of our cast acrylic manufacturing.

For us, it was a real moment of recognition for the whole team. There’s a huge amount of skill, detail and care that goes into every project we produce, and it’s not often that side of the business is seen publicly.

Investing in the Future of Cast Acrylic

A key part of the feature focused on our recent investment in a new large-scale autoclave.

This has significantly expanded what we can do as a business — allowing us to:

Produce larger and more complex cast acrylic pieces
Push further into sculpture, interiors and architectural projects
Take on work that very few manufacturers globally can deliver

The STV feature was a great opportunity to showcase that — and to recognise the hard work that goes into every project.
