Midton crafts custom sports memorabilia display cases that showcase athletic achievements in a perfect display of lasting clarity and precision.

Acrylic Sports Mementos Built to Last

At Midton, we provide display solutions built to preserve moments that cannot be recreated. Our bespoke sports memorabilia acrylic blocks protect and showcase treasured items with exceptional clarity and craftsmanship. Each piece is made to order at our Scottish foundry, where our expert team manages every stage of production under one roof.

As global leaders in cast acrylic, we bring over 40 years of technical expertise to every commission. We regularly create displays for:

Nothing we produce is off the shelf. Every piece is designed around the item, its story and the environment in which it will be showcased.

What We Produce

We offer two main product types for sports memorabilia, each customisable to your unique brief.

Acrylic Display Cases for Memorabilia

Our acrylic display cases are designed to highlight and protect items that need to remain visible from multiple angles. Each case is precision-cast and finished to a smooth, clear standard that covers and protects the item inside without compromising.

These are ideal for:

Our cases are produced in a wide range of sizes and can be tailored to accommodate items of varying depths and dimensions. Whether you need a wall-mounted display or a freestanding case, our design team will create the perfect solution for your room or space.

Acrylic Embedments for Memorabilia

Our acrylic embedment process offers outstanding protection and full optical transparency through complete encapsulation. We permanently encase meaningful objects inside solid cast acrylic, suspending them within a clear, durable form.

This approach works great for smaller items, where the object itself becomes an integral part of the finished piece. Examples include:

The result is a durable display piece that protects every detail while keeping the object on full view from all angles.

What Makes Our Memorabilia Displays Different?

Our fully integrated production model gives us complete control over quality, craftsmanship and lead times, delivering professional results on every commission. Key features of our process include:

The Design & Production Process

Each commission begins with a consultation, during which we work with you to understand your vision, the intended display environment and the right finish for your piece. From there, we develop a proof of concept for your approval before production begins.

This consultative approach means every decision, from the size and shape of the case to the surface finish and personalisation details, is guided by your brief.

FAQs About Our Memorabilia Display Cases & Embedments

Can acrylic display cases be made for items I already own?

Yes. You don’t need to commission a new piece to work with us. If you have an existing item you want to preserve and display, our team will assess it and design a case built precisely around it. Simply share the dimensions and details of your piece during the consultation, and we’ll take it from there.

Can you produce display cases in custom sizes?

Yes. All our memorabilia display cases and acrylic blocks are produced to your specified dimensions. Whether the item you want to display has unusual depth, an irregular shape or specific size requirements, our team will help you find the most suitable design options.

How long does production take?

Lead times depend on the complexity and volume of your order. Because we manage every stage of production in-house, we can often accommodate tight timeframes. Speak with our team as soon as possible to discuss what’s achievable within your timeline.

Can acrylic display cases suit different interior styles?

Yes. Our bespoke display cases are designed with ample flexibility, so each piece can be tailored to suit the personality of the space it occupies. Whether you’re displaying a single centrepiece or a broader collection of memorabilia, we can work across plenty of finishes, forms and dimensions to complement your interior.

Is UV protection necessary for an acrylic display case?

Cast acrylic offers inherent UV resistance, helping protect displayed items from fading over time. However, positioning cast acrylic pieces to avoid prolonged exposure, whether to direct sunlight or strong artificial lighting, is still advisable.

How do I clean an acrylic display case?

Our cast acrylic products are precision-finished for lasting optical clarity, and straightforward care keeps them looking their best:

  1. Rinse or blow off loose dust before wiping to avoid surface scratches.
  2. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. For smudges, use a small amount of mild soap solution.
  4. Dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.

Avoid paper towels, solvents and ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the surface.
