Our Bespoke Manufacturing Process
From standard stock sizes to a fully custom sports legacy acrylic cube display, our process guarantees precision at each stage. We give you clear, honest correspondence from first contact, ensuring your exact specs translate into a finished solid acrylic cube.
For clubs and stadiums, the process starts on the pitch. When a playing surface is replaced or renovated, our team collects and prepares the turf. We can also map the pitch before removal, linking each cube to a precise location, such as the penalty spot or centre circle.
Working collaboratively with our design studio, qualified craftspeople oversee finishing and personalisation to ensure flawless clarity. Match dates, crests and individual numbering, like 001/500, can be built into the design for limited editions. Every block leaves our factory ready to display your most important achievements.
Note: There is no Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ); we will produce a single bespoke piece depending on your budget.
Eco-Friendly Design Solutions
At Midton, we value sustainability across every project, utilising sustainable acrylic materials in large-scale castings to reduce environmental impact. We blend design, innovation and sustainability under one roof, transforming cast scrap back into high-grade displays without losing strength or clarity.
Through eco-friendly manufacturing and 100% recycled acrylic, we keep production zero-waste while maintaining the highest optical standards.

Acrylic Cube FAQs
What are the uses & benefits of acrylic cubes?
Acrylic cubes lift and frame an item so people notice it, whether that’s a product, an award or a table centrepiece. Legacy cubes are made from cast acrylic and range from 1 inch to several inches thick. They’re as clear as glass but much harder to break, making them useful in shops, offices, venues, and exhibition halls.
Acrylic not only displays a 360-degree viewing angle for showcased items; it also provides built-in resistance to ultraviolet light that helps prevent fading over time.
Popular uses include:
- Retail displays: Stack cubes at different heights to show several products at once without a cluttered look.
- Trade shows: They pack down quickly between events and wipe clean in seconds.
- Offices and receptions: Awards, certificates and product samples get their own spot instead of getting lost on a shelf.
- Events and weddings: Acrylic cubes are ideal for creating corporate event table arrangements, centrepieces and themed displays.
The material also earns its place. Acrylic is lightweight and easy to reposition compared to heavy glass or wooden display cases. It doesn’t shatter easily, which lowers the risk of injury or damaged stock. Its surface resists scratches, so cubes stay clear even with frequent handling. High-quality acrylic can be cut and fabricated into different dimensions for varying object sizes, in clear or coloured finishes.
Can you embed physical objects & sports memorabilia inside a solid acrylic cube?
Yes, Midton specialises in custom acrylic embedment, permanently encasing physical items and detailed artefacts directly inside solid cast monomer. By pouring liquid polymer around your item before curing, our factory builds seamless cubes that shield delicate items without clouding or air bubbles.
Custom embedment is ideal for displaying items such as:
- Stadium turf and goal nets
- Heavy medals
- Sports equipment
- Corporate products
- Historical artefacts
Each item is securely suspended within the display, keeping it protected and clearly visible for years to come.
What is the difference between cast acrylic cubes & extruded acrylic boxes?
Cast acrylic cubes are liquid-dispensed into a single mould, forming a seamless, solid block with superior optical clarity. Extruded acrylic boxes are constructed by cutting flat plastic sheets and glueing them along joint seams, creating a hollow container.
Through custom acrylic fabrication, choosing liquid cast acrylic over extruded sheets provides specific physical and visual benefits:
