David Gillen

David has worked in Midton’s casting department since its inception when the department was nothing more than a single room and, in David’s words, ‘had no space to swing a cat in’. He moved to the purpose built factory in 1990 where he’s worked and managed the casting department ever since. Over the years David has overseen the production of thousands of tombstones, awards and bespoke pieces but he references the Manchester United Football Turf Project as one of his favorite embedment jobs to have worked on.
