Midton Celebrates Gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025

The Glasshouse Garden, a collaborative project featuring bespoke Remade acrylic by Midton, wins Gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

We’re proud to announce that The Glasshouse Garden — an inspiring collaboration between Hollaway Studio, celebrated garden designer Jo Thompson, and Midton — has been awarded Gold at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.

At the heart of this award-winning garden lies a powerful message: growth, connection, and second chances. Designed to celebrate women rebuilding their lives after prison, The Glasshouse Garden brings together architectural innovation, sensory beauty, and emotional depth.

From our foundry in Lochgilphead, Argyll, Midton created a stunning series of bespoke Remade acrylic panels for the pavilion — each one carefully cast with meaning and sustainability in mind. The gently tinted panels pivot open like petals, complementing the garden’s colour palette while telling a quiet story of renewal and resilience.

Made from Remade Brut, our own trademark circular material, these panels not only look beautiful but also reflect our commitment to sustainable design.

About The Glasshouse Garden

The Glasshouse Garden was created by Hollaway Studio and Jo Thompson in collaboration with The Glasshouse, a social enterprise supporting women in prison through horticulture and rehabilitation.

This immersive space features a translucent elliptical pavilion surrounded by vibrant, fragrant planting. A winding rill connects each element of the garden, ending in a peaceful reflective pool — a metaphor for renewal and continuity.

After the Chelsea Flower Show, the garden will be permanently relocated to HMP Downview, where its legacy will continue to inspire and support women on their path to a new future.
