Unique colour methods, unobstructed forms and specially developed custom acrylic embedment techniques.

Acrylic is prized for its optical clarity and tactile quality but its true beauty lies in its adaptibility and the opportunity that presents. Acrylic can be so many things to so many people and that makes it all the more exciting to work with.

We are incredibly proud of the work we create with our clients and love to show them off when we can.  For quick fix inspiration and a wide variety of projects check out our portfolio.

Need Some Guidance?

If you have a project you'd like to get started or you're not sure how to proceed, we can help.

How we can get you from concept to production

At Midton we understand creating a physical product for the first time that represents you and your brand can feel like a daunting task. It’s usually the highlight of the night, be that an awards ceremony or closing dinner and the pressure to impress is on, its ok we have you covered with our unique skill set.

With our 30 years experience we have delivered countless projects and work with people of all backgrounds including product engineers, artists and marketing CEO’s. Our approach is fluid in nature and we can start the journey from an initial idea, a theme, a hand drawn sketch or full CAD drawings ready for manufacture - Our experienced team guides you through the creation process at each stage.

The process starts with your input into a design and a budget for your project. One of our skilled 3D product designers will then take this input and create 3 concepts and have them quoted. The custom acrylic designs will then be sent to you digitally as a pdf for you to choose from with quotes for production of each piece. After you have decided on an option we then produce a physical prototype, where time allows, and this is sent to you for approval or to make changes before proceeding with production on the final quantity.

Once you have placed an order we take care of everything, including shipping worldwide.

Rapid prototyping

Using our skills & technology to deliver quality prototypes

Rapid prototyping is what we do, its been part of our manufacturing process for over 20 years.
Using our design and production skills and our range of technology we can take your product idea and make a physical prototype within 5 - 10 working days depending on the product type.
Our in-house customer leads and designers can take you through the process and help you deliver a quality prototype. We create a 3D photo rendering of your product idea, once the concept is approved we can create a rapid prototype using our 3d print suite and/or our in-house machine shop with 4 axis-cnc, mill, saw, lathe and assembly.

Small batch manufacture

Midton is home to a community of designers, crafters and innovators. Our shared expertise and techniques influence how we design and which processes are combined to create unique objects.

Blending the very latest in 3D print technologies and traditional craft methods we make use of varying print mediums ranging from large format digital, screen printing and more modern direct to substrate UV cured. Our experienced casting team can mix, blend and Pantone match different strengths and colours of acrylic material to give a unique look not feasible in many other materials. Post casting machining is often done through a combination of modern CNC machining and also time served processes such as turret mills and circular saws. Every piece we make is hand finished in a 2 stage polishing process and assembled when required. Assemblies can range from a simple bonding of 2 pieces to electronic assemblies of LEDs, IC installations and motors to bring your object to life. Lovingly crafted at every stage.
