Wrexham AFC X Midton invite fans to Own a Piece of History with the launch of new merchandise collaboration
We’re proud to announce Own a Piece of History; a pitch perfect partnership with Wrexham AFC, the world’s third oldest professional football club, and arguably the fastest growing in the world too thanks to the patronage of its owners, Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Wrexham AFC X Midton: Own a Piece of History is a brand-new merchandise range, created for Wrexham AFC by Midton, which offers fans the unique opportunity to buy an enduring physical connection with the Club, as well as being a fundraising endeavour to support its remarkable and ongoing storied legacy.

The Own a Piece of History merchandise range is on sale and includes:
1864 limited edition cube sculptures each with a piece of Wrexham’s hallowed turf set into a striking acrylic design by Midton – a genuine keepsake for fans which can be passed through generations. The design of these items features the Club’s brand marque in a range of Club colours: full Club crest, black with gold, red, and green, with a white top to reflect the pitch.

A collection of smaller merchandise goods including good luck medal charms, quality key chains and lasting coin mementos. An element of the pitch can be found across these designs, including pitch grass cuttings in some pieces, and each feature Wrexham AFC’s brand marque.
Having enjoyed three promotions in a row, and timed to coincide with the launch of Wrexham AFC’s new store in the city, Own a Piece of History has seen Midton manufacture the star power of the Club from its state-of-the-art foundry in Lochgilphead, Argyll.
The Midton team travelled from rural Argyll to the Wrexham stadium in the north-east of Wales, where prime, mapped out cuts of the pitch, as well as sections of the goal net, were carefully curated before being transported back cross country to Argyll. In a preservation race against time, once back at Midton HQ, the hallowed ground was meticulously watered and aerated before being precisely sliced and set into acrylic cubes, then as the final touch, branded with the Wrexham AFC marques. The result is a new merchandise range which delivers a statement of storied history and legacy creation; a remarkable opportunity for fans to get the ultimate design kick, with the turf, the net, and the grass serving as a centrepiece of the Midton designs.
